Does Microsoft support all of their applications on the "Microsoft XP Tablet
OS"?
Thank you

What do you mean by "support their applications..."?

On a tablet, the Office (2003 I'm familiar with) apps have varying degrees
of tablet/ink awareness and utility. At a minum, you can mark upon Word,
Excel and Powerpoint documents. OneNote is made for inking, it does a fair
job converting inked text to editable text.

What exactly are you looking to do?

I am looking for the capability to be able to use my laptop like my PDA. My
PDA screen is small and not very good at sketching concepts. I use a lot of
powerpoint, visio, excel and other MS Office applications. I would like to
be able to do conceptual sketches with notes and then convert them later to
formal presentations.

OneNote sounds like a good choice, you can write in it by hand, as I
mentioned it does a credible job converting to text. You can sketch, copy
and paste, and it's good for organizing, with as many tabs as you want.
Kind of like a DayPlanner book.

The 2007 version is much improved, I've not yet really dug into it.

FWIW, students at the university where I teach have been using tablets for a
year now, and a great number of use OneNote with great success.
