take page numbering out of document

Hi to all
I've never posted before..Have looked in the search for the answer I
want but couldn't find it..
I have numbered pages for the bottom right and now want to take the
numbering out all together and can't figure it out..Maybe I did not
search properly, so please help..

Hi Linda,

In Layout View, just double-click on the page number, select it, and delete
it.
If the page number was inserted with "Insert > Page number", it'll be in a
small text box. You should click on that box, too, and delete it.
