TalkShow Software

Every so often a client asks me why they shouldn't use TalkShow software
from Tonic Studios.

Does anyone have any experience with this product?

I imagine, like Crystal Graphics, the main reason not to use it is that it
requires new software to be installed on every computer running the
presentation--which would be a deal killer for the client.

Well, right now if I go to http://www.talkshow.com , the page says, "We're
in the middle of changing a few things ... Have a quick peek at what we're
working on ... please email us to be notified wehn we are back on the air."

I can't tell what TalkShow even is, really, and it's not available. Those
are two reasons for me not to use it. :)

But yes, PPT has critical mass. Even with all its warts and problems,
critical mass is still a good thing.
