What is the difference between a user saving their tasks in 'My Tasks' versus
submitting the tasks? If a user saves the tasks can the project manager pull
this information into the project or does the information need to be
submitted by the user? Thanks!

Saving a task update commits the information to the Project Server database
but does not send the information to the project manager. Submitting the
task update sends the information to the project manager for approval and
updating into the Microsoft Project plan. Team members would use the save
feature if they are entering their updates on a daily basis, for example.
Team members should be taught to submit their task updates at the end of
every reporting period. Hope this helps.
