task bar missing from desktop

When my computer started up all the icons appeared on the desktop, but no
taskbar shows. I put the cursor on the bottom of the screen and clicked but
it had no effect. No matter what I do I can not get the taskbar to appear

I realise that this may not be a WORD problem but as I'm new to computers I
don't really know where to look.

If someone could even tell me where to look I'd be very gratefull

Hello,

You may have resized the Taskbar.

Hover you mouse at the very bottom of the screen, it should turn into a
double headed arrow. When it does click and hold and drag up. This should
bring back your Taskbar.

Try the same thing but at each edge of your screen as you may have moved the
Taskbar.

If this doesn't work press the Windows key (between Ctrl and Alt). This
activates the Start button. Check if you can see the Start button at the
bottom of the menu.

Post back and let me know what you see.
