Task Bar

The side Task Bar will not open when I satart word. I have the box checked to open. Any suggestions?

Hi Dave,

This can happen if you have add-ins present in your Startup folder.
The Task Pane is opening however the Task Pane is set to turn off when
you open a document. Even though you don't see a document physically
open the add-in is opening and loading which causes the Task Pane to
turn off.
