Hi, there, I posted this thread for several days but not be answered yet,
could someone give me an idea?
I have a duration disaccord issue with Project Server 2007. The enterprise
calendar we are using defines the daily working hour is 7.5hrs. In case of a
task duration is 1 day:
- The duration shown on Project professional is 1day
- But the duration shown on PWA_My Tasks page is 0.94day
- Further, the 'Total Work' field on <Assignments detail> view is 7.5hrs.

How can I solve this problem?

Thanks in advance,

JJin

JJin:

In PWA select Server Settings and in the Time and Task Management section,
you must set the working times under Timesheet Settings and Defaults. If
this does not agree with the base calendar, PWA will calculate durantion on
the default 8-hour work day setting.

PWA task makes the assumes that the task working days are 8 hours. Therefore
a task duration of 0.94 days x 8 hours = 7.5 hours work.

Hope this helps

Hi, Gary,
In PWA select Server Settings and in the Time and Task Management section,
our settings are:
The default timesheet units will be: Hours
The number of hours in a standard timesheet day is: 7.5
The number of hours in a standard timesheet work week is: 37.5
These settings are matched to our Enterprise calendar's settings.

Thanks in advance,

JJin
