Task events in MSP 2002

Hi,
Events 'ProjectBeforeTaskChange', 'ProjectBeforeTaskChange2
', 'ProjectBeforeTaskNew' and 'ProjectTaskNew' are not
working correctly. They occur direct after each other and
on creation of a new task the new-events occur AFTER the
entry of a value (to late). At the end of the event there
is no chance zu alter the entered value programmatically.

What is your question?
Can you give an example of how you are using them?

Hi Jack,

when a user tries to insert a new task in the project
plan, we want him to enter required fields in a separate
dialogbox. To do so, we want to pop up this dialogbox
initially when a new task is created. The problem is, that
the event does not happen when the user presses the ins
key or the menu entry for a new task. No, the event
happens AFTER the user has already entered data in a cell
and presses enter. This is to late and a side effect is,
that the edited cell cannot be updated by the
dialogbox/script.

Thanks in advance,
Guido
