Task Fields Not Rolling Down To Timesheet

Using Project Server 2007 SP1. I have some enterprise tasks fields that are
configured to roll to the assignments. These fields are added to the
timesheet view. In MS Project the fields show that they get rolled down to
the assignment. The values these fields do not show up in the timesheet.
The do show if a value is entered manually in the assignment but not if they
are just entered in the task. Any help?

Hi Gary, I certainly had issues getting Flag values to roll down to
assingment level, but not an ECF that has a lookup field attached. Is your's
a flag, lookup field or manually entered field?

I have 3 enterprise custom text task fields. The first is a text field with
no lookup table or default value. This one does not roll down to the
timesheet. The second is a text field with a lookup table. This one also
does not rool down. The third is a text field with a lookup table with a
default value. This one rolls down to the timesheet view without a problem.

It sounds like a matter of opening the plans, selecting values for fields
that have no defaults, saving and publishing.

Does not work. Values only show in timesheet if valves are entered into
fields at assignment level. If a value is entered into the task field it is
blank in the timesheet. If the field is entered at the assignment it shows
the value in the timesheet. Costom field is set to roll down to the
assignment.
