Task finishing (Actual Work)

Hello again in short period,

Can at least Project3 do the following?
------
- PWA/Task View of resource
- he can edit Actual Work done per day and Remaining Work
- also he can edit non-default field Actual Finish

He has done 20 % work (accepted by manager and saved).
Next day he realized the work is completed and so he inserted today
date to the Actual Finish.
------
I expect his manager will accept the change in Actual Finish field.
Then the task will reach 100 %. Only 20 % hours from the planned
amount will be saved on server (e.g. 2h of 10h).

I know with enabling resources to edit Actual Finish I can encounter
with some problems (multiple resources/task...). But firstly it doesnt
function at all!
After accepting by mng, the field Actual Work in PROJECT will not
change.

I dont know why MS permit to insert that field...
I will understand you ll answer me: IT is not possible.

Vitek,

If the resource enters "0" in the Remaining Work field for the task
and the PM accepts that change, Project will mark the task 100%
complete with the date of the last Actual Work entry (provided there
are no other resources on the task with Remaining Work). Your
resources should not have to enter the Actual Finish Date at all.

Thank you Sarah

But I know about capabilities of Reamining Work Field.
I aimed to the fact, why I am able to fill up dates into fields Actual
Start/Finish (in PWA) and simultaneously it isnt recommended and
actually it doesnt work at all.
