Task Issues

I am having an issue with several projects. The issue has to do with
reassigned tasks. When I reassign a task from one user to another it shows
on both task lists. This doesn't happen with every project file just a few.
Does anyone know what causes this or how to correct it?

Are you doing this from Project? If so, does the task have any actual work
when you reassign it?

Yes, they are. No values assigned. My guess is it is just a corrupt file(s).
