Task notes dont show up in Server web interface for read only client

We have a Server running
Windows 2000 server
SQL 200
Sharepoint 200
and IIS
(all on one server
We have had no luck getting the notes created in Project std and collaborated to the Project server database to show up in the client web interface (read only users)
I sure could use some help on this

Tracy:

These simply don't transfer the way you expect them to. You can expose the
task notes field in a project view, however these tend not to be very
readable in this presentation unless they're fairly short notes.
