Task Notes not publishing

I am experiencing an issue with adding notes to a task. In the project
client, I insert some notes on a task. Then I publish the plan. All
other info for the task is updated on the server but the notes do not
appear. I tried modifying the view to include the "notes" field but
they did not appear that way either. I am able to "Insert Notes" on a
task via PWA, but just not with Project client.

Can anyone tell me if this is a known bug with the project client? I
am running Project Professional 2003 SP1 and Project Server 2003.

The note icon will appear in the Task lists of resources assigned to the task.
