Task Sheets in PWA

I am trying to use task sheets in Server PWA for project resources to enter
time spent on takss. Problem is, only individual tasks from the schedule
show up, not summary tasks. This is confusing for the users as they often
cannot distinguish one task from another.

For example if I have this in a schdeule:

Website Policy
Develop
Review
Approve

Coroprate Policy
Develop
Review
Approve

....the tasks show up in the task sheet as:

Develop
Develop
Review
Review
Approve
Approve

Can the task sheet view in PWA be configured to show summary tasks, and if
so how?

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer!

The My Tasks page should show tasks grouped by Project, you also have the
option to "Expand All".

By the sound of it you are looking at Timesheet information, am I correct?

In the Timesheet view there is a column denoting in which project the tasks
reside, the timesheet does not show summary tasks.

I am trying to find where the display as you describe occurs, are you
looking at the Resource Assignment view?

Hi, Dominic,

No, we are not using timesheets - the view is the under "My Tasks".

Sounds like summary tasks are not displayed - is this correct? If so this
feature will have limited usability! Sounds like I'll have to identify the
summary task in the task description.

Is there an add-on that addresses this deficiency? Wonder if Microsoft is
planning on an upgrade?
