Task update resolution?

Beth

Has anyone identified a solution for the task update problem where updates
made via PWA, submitted and approved, do not show up in the project plan via
Proj Pro?

Thanks, Beth

This bug is a real "deal breaker" with using Project Server 2007. My hope
is that this bug is fixed in SP1. I am in the process right now of
installing SP1 so I can check to see if the issue is fixed, or if it
persists. Have you applied SP1 yet? Let us know.

Thanks Dale-
I have not installed SP1 yet. I'll be looking forward to what you find.
Some info on my situation in case it helps:

Unbenounced to me, I was running Project Server on a temporary license. I
was not experiencing the PWA update problem. When the temporary license
expired, I had no option but to reinstall Project Server. I had saved an
..mpp file of a project I had been working on. When I uploaded it from a .mpp
to the new Project Server environment, the problem was there. I deleted the
project off the server and uploaded again, but the problem persists. I am
running SQL server and Project Server on the same system (a laptop).

Hi Dale!

We are experiencing the same problem, so I am curious about your SP1-Test.
Does SP1 solve the problem?

I haven't gotten that far yet. I would suggest you install SP1 on your own
system and then see if the problem is resolved for you. The trouble with
this bug is that it is intermittent and unpredictable. I have been in
environments where only a few updates didn't appear in the Microsoft Project
2007 plan, and in other environments where NO updates appeared at all. How
can you reproduce that? Weird. Let us know what you find with your own
testing.
