Task updates are not automatically published when approved

Hello everyone,

I hope someone will be able to assist me with this problem.

For some reason whenever a Team Member submits a task update in terms of '%
complete' and the submission is approved by the Team Leader (who is set as
Status Manager of the specific task) the '% complete' on the Gantt on the PWA
is not updated until someone publishes the whole project again (but if I open
the Gantt with Project then I can see the correct '% complete').

Is this how it's supposed to work or is there any way to make the published
Gantt to be automatically updated once task updates are submitted and
accepted through the PWA?

We are using Project Server 2007.

In Project Server 2007, after you accept updates into a project, you still
much open the project and publish the latest schedule changes. There is no
direct way around this, I am afraid. Hope this
