Task updates

If I have a project manager that is a resource on a project that they are not managing how do you control where the updates are performed...web or professional if the person has both?

I would recommend that the PM/TM be required to perform the task updates in
PWA so that the updates will go to the person who is functioning as the
project manager for this project. If the PM/TM enters their update in the
actual project plan, the project manager will not be able to view and
Approve/Deny the updates, thus bypassing the project reporting process
within the system. Therefore, this is probably a training and performance
issue for everyone involved in your organization. Hope this helps.
