Task Usage View not showing resourced

Terri

When I apply a filter to the Task Usage View, I no longer see the resources
under each task, as there are over 10,000 tasks I can not click on each one,
is there an easier way to show resources on all tasks when filter is applied.
using Project 2007

Thanks a bunch,

Hello Terri,

Welcome to this Microsoft Office Project General Questions newsgroup.

Normally, the Task Usage view will show individually resource assignments
for each task, unless you use certain kinds of filters, for example: if you
apply the Top Level Tasks filter.

In order to help you in a better way, would you please be more specific as
to what kind of filter you are using, and what is it that you are trying to
achieve?

Best regards,

When I show the Task Usage View, under each task are the resources assigned,
if I put a filter on the view, say I want to filter out summary tasks, the
assigned resourced no longer show under the tasks, I have to click on each
task to show the resources again.

I have 3 different ways I want to show resource data so on one view I do not
want to show summary tasks so I apply a filter to exclude summary tasks, on
another view I want to show only implementation tasks (this is marked in a
text field) so I apply the filter to show only implementation tasks, another
view I want to show only training tasks so I put that filter on, it does not
matter what filter I use the resources are hidden, with over 10,000 tasks I
can not click on each task to show the resources. I am trying to find a way
to keep the resources in the view when I apply the filter. I do not know how
else to make this any clearer.

Click a column header to highlight all tasks and click the Show Assignments
button. Does this reveal all of the assignments?
