Task View Options in PWA

Glenn

Hello,

I have 3 different projects published to PWA. Is it possible to view tasks
in PWA
for only one project ? The filter options available don't seem to support
this.

Click the name of the project in the Project Center view and you will see
the detailed Project view for the project, showing only the tasks for that
project. Hope this helps.

Dale,

I am aware that tasks for a project are shown for that project in the
project view.

My question is can tasks from only one project be shown in the tasks view ?
It seems that in the Tasks View, PWA shows all of the tasks for any or all of
the projects that have been published

Thanks for any additional insight.

Glenn:

Interestingly, there are absolutely no task views in Project Web Access that
display task data for more than one project. This is actually a source of
much complaining, which makes your query somewhat amusing. Can you be
specific in quoting the title of the view you're looking at as it appears on
your screen.

If you are talking about the timesheet view shown on the View My Tasks page,
then do this:

1. Click the Filter, Group, Search tab
2. Click the Custom Filter button
3. Set the Field Name value to Project, the Test to Contains, and type a
partial project name
4. Click the OK button
5. Select the All Tasks filter to redisplay all tasks

Hope this helps.
