TASK_WINPROJ_UNIQUE_ID vs TASK_ID

Can someone explain to me what's the different between these two
fields? I'm currently track some ideas using TASK_ID but another
piece of software is using TASK_WINPORJ_UNIQUE_ID. Which is better to
use?

Thanks,

ID is the row number in Project Pro, Unique ID is the Unique ID field in
Project Pro. Whilst the ID value changes when you insert, delete or move
Tasks, the Unique ID does not. Insert the Unique ID column in Project Pro
and experiment. the UID is a much safer field to use with external apps as
it doesn't change.

Where can I find the TASK_WINPORJ_UNIQUE_ID? The Task object in
ProjectDataSet doesn't seem to include it?
