Taskpad does not appear in my calendar view

J

JT Innovations

I'm running Vista Ultimate along with Office 2003. When I went to the
calendar and then opened the taskpad it came on the right side of the
calendar. But then I tried to organize it by categories and date and it gave
me an error that was so fast I could not read it at all and the taskpad
disappeared never to be seen again. I still have the regular task view but
not the taskpad in the calendar view. All that shows up is the small monthly
calendar above where the taskpad should be. What do I need to do to fix this?

Thanks for the help,
Terry

is there a bar at the bottom of the window that you can pull up to show the
taskpad? Did you try turning it off and on (View menu)?

Opening Outlook with the /cleanviews switch may help, since it seems to be a
views problem.

There is no bar at the bottom that I could pull up to view it. And I have
tried closing Outlook and reopening it, I even rebooted and did it all.

As for opening Outlook with the cleanviews switch this I haven't done since
I'm not familair with it could you explain more.

Otherwise I'm still at a loss as to fix this problem.

Thanks,
Terry

Is there a grey area where the TaskPad was? Or is there more than 1 row of
Dates showing in the little Calendar?

Thanks Milly,
The cleanviews worked and it is back to normal now.

What did the cleanviews actually do so I know for the future?

Thanks to everyone with my problem.

Removes all customization of the views and returns it to factory default.
