Tasks appearing under the Inbox

We have migrated our users over to Windows XP running
Outlook 2002. Since this I am getting lots of calls
saying that new Tasks are appearing under their Folder
list. This isn't just happening when a new task is
created, but can happen when a new mail is created. If
you look at the tasks themselves they are all blank but
are being numbered incrementally.

I'm getting the same problem on XP and office 2002.
Could it be possibly a reoccurance settings issue?
