Tasks Done vs. Progress

Our group is using the Actual work done and work remaining reporting method
and we are having some confusion on the PWA side (we are using Project 2007).
When we close out a task, and go back to the My Tasks page to view all
tasks, sometimes you have the pulldown option to change the task from Not
Done to Done. Other times you just have a number in that field to show your
progress. Does anyone know what controls when you have the number vs. when
you have the Done/Not Done option? Thanks.

pwa07 - you should be able to complete the assignment in % mode when you
click on the task and edit the general details section..

In outlook (Web access) you will be able to use the "health of the task" to
indicate incomplete or completed etc.

no sure where on PWA you have a pulldown to show "Not Done / Done" status..

Thanks but doesn't really answer my question. When is the Done/Not done
option available for a task in PWA? Trying to answer questions from our
users who only use PWA and we are not using the % method.

was the did you change time sheet setting when you had an active project on
PWA ? (i.e tracking methods )
current settings could be = Actual work done and work remaining.
old settings = Percent of work complete.

If I am not mistaken, old assignments will still be tracked via % completed
only
