Tasks page won't display in PWA

We are using ProjectServer 2003 with PWA.

When I go to view the Tasks page in PWA, I get redirected back to the home
page. The screen flashes for a second as it tries to build the grid to
display the tasks but then redirects back to the Home page.

A similar problem occurs if I try to view any page that contains a grid
display. What happen then is that IE just freezes (hangs) with an Erro on
page message ay the bottom left in the status bar. I can't even double-click
on the error to see what the problem is. It is as if the grid cannot be built
at all.

Any ideas, espacially from Microsoft people would be most welcome because I
am really frustrated by this.

Does this happen on all clients, or only yours?

It sounds like there might be a problem using the ActiveX components.
Perhaps if you reinstall from the *.ocx files on your install CD, or check
the security permissions in IE with regards to ActiveX you might sort this
out?

If you want help from Microsoft people, you need to open a support call,
otherwise you're stuck with your peers here.<g> Ross gave you one
possibility, however the most common causes are:

Incorrect version of MDAC on your local machine
Browser add-ins like the Google toolbar
Enabling the discussion bar in Explorer

Ross, the problem only occurs on my PC so I'll give what you say a try and
let you know.

Gary, I'll check what you say also as I might have enabled these with
realising.
