Tasks Update fails

Hi,

I've recently switched PC and since then, the tasks update process fails
with the following error:

"VBScript: Micorsoft Office Project Web Access 2003
You need Microsoft Project Professional 2002 or Microsoft Office Project
Professional 2003 in order to perform this Action.

If you are using either of these versions, verify that a correct account for
1this project server has been selected by pointing to Enterprise Options
(Tools menu) and then clicking Microsoft Office Project Server Accounts. If
you are unable to start Project with the correct account, contact your server
administator to make sure that the enterprise features have been enabled on
the Project server."

Now, I can launch Project Professional 2003 and see all the projects on the
server. I can log onto Project Web Access 2003 and see all the tasks updated
by the team members. I've verified the server configuration and it is set to
"enable enterprise features". I've added the hyperlink to the server into the
trusted sites list in Internet Explorer.

What esle shall I look for to resolve this issue?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Verify that the URL you use to access PWA is _exactly_ the same as the
url that is set up in Project Professional -> Enterprise Options->
Manage Server Accounts. (I don't remember the exact title of the menu
item.)

They must be identical for PWA to recognize the connection set up in
Project Pro. Common problems include leaving the s off of one (http://
instead of https://) or leaving the domain name of one or the other.

Right on!

The URL in the browser used the hostname while the one in Enterprise options
is using the IP address. I've updated the URL for PWA and everything works
fine now.

Thanks much for the quick and most appropriate response!

Cheers!
