Tasks will not load in PWA (hanging)

I have a user that clicks on Tasks and thenPWA just hangs with the message
that it is loading data. The data never loads. The user has IE7 on his
machine and it once worked. I am not sure about what may have changed. It
is specific to his machine, as I had him remote into a server and he was able
to download his tasks.

I made sure security was low, the site was trusted, and access was allowed
across domains. I also tried deleting the PJ files in the Internet
Options/programs section. I could only disable the add-ins, not delete them,
as was suggested in another posting, so I was never able to reload PWA.

What have I missed?

Version? Project 2003 with latest service packs and IE7

Eleanor:

If it once worked, then the first thing I'd look for is user-installed
browser add-ons. Google toolbar, popup blockers, firewalls, Cellphone
synchronization add-ins like avant browser, etc.
You can also try deleting and reinstalling the Project Server active X
objects

How does one uninstall the Active X for Project Server? Is this a PWA active
X control or a server wide active X control? If the former, does this impact
others?
