TCP/IP connection terminated

TCP/IP connection unexpectantly terminated by your Mail
server - has anyone seen this error message - we can
recieve mail on this machine but can't send.
Use Outlook 2000
Windows 2000
over a 56k AT&T connection - changed AT&T server
connections - reinstalled Outlook, changed Modems - works
fine at other 45 locations.
Any help would be appreciated

That's an issue on your ISP's end.

Is there any anti-virus or firewall software on the machine in question?
Sometimes these can interfer with the connection. If there is, try turning
them off. If everything works, see if there's an update for the software in
question.
