I have Office 2003 student/teacher version and am currently using with my
home based computer, but am looking at purchasing a laptop, can I use the
software on the new computer also or is this only good for one computer. I
read on ebay, that this version is good for 3 computers? Please help.

To understand your usage rights, you can view the Office 2003
end-user license agreement (EULA) by doing the following:

1. Open Microsoft Office 2003 Word.
2. On the Help menu, click About <product name>.
3. Click View the End-User License Agreement.

Yes, you may legally install Office STE 2003 on up to 3 computers in the

finally a straight answer to a straight question .... as can be seen form
other posts on teh subject simply reading an end user licence does not deal
with the problems people have in installing the product on more thatn one
computer in the same hosehold :)
