Hi!

I noticed that when I look at the availability for a team in PWA under
Resource Center, the capacity is 0hr or 8hr. I there a way to have a
view that shows me the capacity of the team combined in PWA. For
example, if there are 3 resources in a team, I'd like to see the
capacity of the 3 resouce as the Team's capacity - so, if the team's
members each has an 8hr a day capacity (8*3=24) the team's capacity
would be 24hr in one day.

I hope this makes sense and someone out there is able to help. Thank
you very much in advance.

Cecilia.

Hi Cecilia,

yes there is, you have 2 options
Option 1 using the resource center, select the resources you wish to view
and select the view availabillity button. The red line ( capacity) is a sum
of all selected resources capacity.

Option 2, use the Data Analyser and create a view. Within the view ensure
that you have totals, which will give you the totals of the selected
resources.

Hope this helps

Hello Cecilia,
This option is out of the box under the resource center
views, you select n number of resources the time is projected n times
the number of resources. I guess you are looking into something like:
to select teams rather than resources that should calculate the time
and project you the availability and consumption. This will be
difficult, coz under the configuration options we also have an option
to configure what does full time equivalent of a resource mean (in
terms of hours).

Ideal way to generate a report is to configure a custom view for see
the resource consumption / availability, which can have its resource
filtered using a resource specific custom field that should generate
your reports quickly and repeatedly.

for education videos you can log in to my site www.LearnMsProjectServer.com
