Hello,

Word has a system of "track changes" which allows different people to
work on a document in sequence & be identified as the contributers.

In PowerPoint 2003, what equivalent is there?

Bob,
PPT2002 and 2003 have a Send for Review, you can find it under File - Send
to, it works with e-mail so you will need Outlook I think.
