team member cannot access issues on just one project

I have been trying to sort this out for a week, and run
out of ideas....

Several team members cannot access issues for just one of
their projects.

They are members of the problematic project.
They have tasks in the project, and are recording time
against it.
The project differs for each person (ie person a cant
access issues project b, but can access issues a,
person b can access issues project b, but cant access
issues project a)
All other team members dont have a problem.
They do have issues assigned to them in the projects.
This is a recent problem but cant work out what has
changed (although theu are new team members).
Tasks have been republished, and tried different project
managers.

We are using windows authentication.

Hope someone knows a solution for this - the indians are
getting restless.

Paul:

The first step is to use the Synchronize Users feature from:

Admin > Manage SharePoint Team Services > Manage Subwebs

Select the project in question and click the Synchronize users button. Let
us know if that clears up the issue.
