Team Member tasks in PWA

Using MSP2003, ENT.

While in PWA people listed as Team members only are unable to see Projects
(this is how I like it) but according to group settings/Permission for Team
Members they should be able to see Projects. Permissions: See Projects in
Project Center & See Projects in Project Views are checked or Xed. Why are
TM's unable to see Projects they are a member of but Permissions options
checked say they should?

Are you sure that those permissions are checked when you select the
category that includes Projects on which they are a member? Many
people don't notice that the check marks change depending on what
category is highlighted in the list above.

Then I would double check that the category includes the projects you
think it includes.

Finally, look for "Denies." These can really change the behavior in
unexpected ways.

Well, do you want them to see their projects in the Project Center or not?
If you do want them to see their projects in the Project Center, then your
Project Server administrator needs to modify the My Tasks category to
include at least one Project Center view (usually the Summary view gets the
job done) and one Project view (the Tasks Summary view is a good one). Hope
this helps.

If they cannot even see the Projects tab across the top it is probably due
to them no having the global permission "View Project Center"

Definition:
View Project Center is a global permission that allows users to access the
Project Center from Project Web Access or Project Professional. Grant this
permission to users who need to view the Project Center in Project Web
Access by clicking the Projects link in the top-level navigation, or in
Project Professional by selecting Project Center on the Collaborate menu.
This permission requires that users:
.. Be granted the See Enterprise Project Data category permission.

Hope this helps,
