TEam resource and default assigment owner

I have a generic team resource Team A with default assignment owner PersonA.
I have few projects published with the team. Now John smith is replaced by
PersonB.

Eventhough I change the default assigment owner to B and republish my plans,
it still shows up in Person A's My Task not Person B's.

Waht I am doing wrong?
