I am trying to help somone who is about to be promoted from the cleaning lady
to the receptionist. Was wondering if anoyone knew wher I could get info on
how to properly answer the Telephone for her?

Not in a newsgroup dedicated to a particular brand of word processor, that's
for sure.

Most companies have their own preferred format for answering the telephone
and she should be trained appropriately. If not, be polite, identify the
company (and maybe herself) and ask how she can help the caller.

Or, what most companies do .....

I am in India answering for XYZ company in England. We don't care about our
customers. Press 1 for Sales, press 2 for ...
