Ethiopian Computers & Software marketed the first Ethiopic software in 1987.
The software packages has been upgraded frequently and works in Windows XP
with many applications. We design from simple graphics to multilingual web
sites in Ethiopi. See www.ethiopic.com and www.fettan.com. Our software
includes all characters in all written Ethiopic languages (more than 480) and
allows to type, on a standard English keyboard, the default characters with
one key stroke and a maximum of two key strokes to access the rest. The
aplicationd work with all Microsoft Office products. We have asked Microsoft
to work with us to include Ethiopic in its products. Could someone find out
why the ancient Ethiopic is excluded from utilization (along with others) by
the global community?
