Template copy protection

I have templates which include macros which I would like to allow others to
use to create documents but not copy. Since I can't figure out how to do this
(some form of copy protection?), as an alternative, is there a way to make
the macros inacessible? Perhaps encrypting or compiling them? Thanks.

I believe you can password protect the module containing the macros.

Yes, you can 'lock the project for viewing' with a password. It's under
Tools > Project Properties in the VBA Editor - not the most obvious
terminology or place to look.
