Template Design

P

Paul Pitman

I am designing some standard stationary templates for my
company and have 2 questions.

I have put the Logo into the header, and the address
details in the footer. I now need to ensure that when the
user goes to page 2 that the footer information does not
print. I tried changing the footer on page 2 but then
whenever you create a document from this template it
prints out 2 pages even if there is nothing on the second
page.

The Logo prints in the top right hand corner, on page 1
the address information is opposite so no problem, however
on page 2 and subsequent pages the text covers the logo,
or you have to insert multiple carrige returns to get
below the logo. What I would like is for the text to wrap
around the logo - is this possible?

Thank you in advance

In addition to reviewing Suzanne's information, you may want to look at my
response in the docmanagement newsgroup with the subject "managing changing
letterhead." This is most easily done if done at the start before people
start using your letterhead.

See also the MVP FAQ: <URL: http://www.mvps.org/word/> which is awesome!

But if the templates are stationary, as the OP stated, presumably they won't
be changing. <g>
