Template documents

Anthony Litterio

I am not sure what this would be called, so this makes
this hard to type. What I want is to create a template
that has fields in it that stand out in the document,
that need to be changed. Example.

This letter is to "username" on the matter of "case"
appearing in court room number "number"...

Where all of the stuff in quotes can be clicked on and
changed by the user without having to change any of the
formatting in the document, but still make it "stand out"
that it needs to be changed before this can be sent?

I hope this is a good explanation.

Thanks
Tony

Look up "online form" in Word's help.

Otherwise, I use macrobutton fields for this, formatting the prompt text in
bold red or blue.

{ MacroButton NoMacro Prompt text } displays as
Prompt text

When the user clicks on it, the entire field is selected and the color and
bold disappear when the user types something. (Pressing the F11 key moves to
the next field.)
