Template for Avery Labels 5066

I was told that Avery Labels can be scanned as a jpeg and used as
template to type and print labels. If this is true, how? Our scanne
scans as a jpeg

Why would you want to do that when Word (all versions) includes label
definitions for Avery 5066?
