Template for blog or journal? Best sites to post a blog or journal

I have a couple of blog sites to use and now one that is called a journal
(not the Outlook Journal) site. I was looking for a WORD template to use to
draft my entries, but did not find anything. Perhaps I will just have to pick
out some template that I can use for anything the blog or journal allows. For
now I will try that, although I am not sure it will work. My first try at one
of the blogs was a mess. The lines all ran together and the fonts did not
work correctly. Maybe my complete lack of knowledge about blogs or the blog
site was at fault. If you have used either a blog or journal site to publish
on the Web, do you use templates or some other method? What are your
favorite, free or inexpensive, sites to use for blogs or journals? Maybe I am
just on ones that are no good.

I am going on a long trip and much of the time will not have Internet
access. I want to be able to write as I go, save the writing or photographs
or other graphics, and then upload when I do have access.

Word's web output (it's own version of CSS and HTML) is not very
useable for general web publishing with web apps, such as blog sites.
Most sites like that require CLEAN HTML...something Word knows nothing
about.

I'd suggest you find an Internet and/or blog support group and ask for
help there.
