Template Issues

When I close word it asks me if i want to replace the file "normal". It also
asks if i want to change the global template. I can't open documents. It says
document is unavailable.

Disable the Office Plugin that comes with Symantec/Norton AntiVirus.

Normal.dot *is* the global template, and the cause of both these symptoms is
most likely the Office Plug-in Norton AntiVirus. Disable it.
