Template VBA form and Code Missing

Henry J

Hi out there.
I am Access programmer just learning VBA in Word. I spent last two days
learning how to develop an input form use the VBE, controls, command buttons,
etc. And I also added code to add data to combo boxes, initialize defaults,
etc. This was all done at my client site.
I returned to my office, and via gotomypc, I downloaded a copy of the
template.

When I open the template, the bookmarks are there, and document stuff. But
no vbe form, or controls, or code.

In access, I just move a database and everything goes with it.

Okay,
So I should be ok if get the normal.dot file.
But, this template is to be distribute.

So, how do I transfer to the code and data to the template?

Thanks

In the VB Editor (Alt+F11), you should be able to drag modules from one
document (or template) to another. Go to the Word MVP site at
http://word.mvps.org/ and do a search for the word "distribute" to find out
how to distribute macros to others.

Thanks,
I can't get to the desktop until tomorrow. So then, we shall see.
The project is only half done. I am doing the other half(the form has a tab
control with 8 tabs) that require bookmarks. So, I will build the tab
control, and bookmarks. I hope to copy the tabcontrol, and bookmarks into the
original work?

Well, you can click and drag, but you can also export modules and forms...
:)
Just right-click a module or userform and choose Export. Then you can even
send the exported file and import to another file.
