Template Wizard and Excel versions

I hope I posted this in the correct place...

I created a form with Template Wizard using Excel 2000;
whenever you change certain pieces of data in this
worksheet, it automatically adds a record to another
worksheet saved elsewhere. I have gotten it to work on my
computer (which uses Excel 2000); when I save the template
to the appropriate place on my boss's computer (using the
network), and use my computer to run it, it also works
correctly. However, when I try to use the template with
my boss's Excel 97, it doesn't update the database
worksheet at all. (I just tried it on a third machine
that uses Excel 97, and it doesn't work there either.) Is
this just some sneaky version-incompatibility issue that I
don't know about? If so -- or even if not -- is there any
way I can get around it?

Thanks in advance,

Ashley

It works for me on 2000 and 97 on the same computer. I wonder if the
problem isn't drive mapping. If your database workbook is
F:\MyData\Data.xls, but your boss doesn't have F mapped, or has it mapped
somewhere else, that could be a problem.

Dick,

Both computers point to drive F: as the network server, if
that's what you mean.

Thanks for mentioning that you got it to work, though. At
least that means that I should be able to tackle it!
