Templates for Avery products?

I am new to Mac. I am trying to publish an insert for a CD case, using one of the templates in the publishing view, but need a way to position it to make it work with Avery blank #8931. I am sure there is something obvious that I'm missing, but don't know what it is.

Googling for "Avery 8931 template" give a number of hits. All require a
page layout or label printing program to use. What's not obvious about
that? The ability to place text accurately on a CD label is why I use
one of the many disk labling programs out there. Check out
Versiontracker.com or MacUpdate.com for a list. I personally use Discus.
