Hi, I am having trouble with 1. creating templates for
word x 2. getting some help from microsoft!
I have a colleague who has recently received a mac
powermac. We currently have company templates for letters,
faxs, memos and are having trouble crearing new templates
for the mac on word x.
1. We are unable to print from a custom template, all
other documents print fine.
2. We cannot create a click here field where there is a
part which
a. doesn't show when printed, or faxed.
b. when clicked becomes an infinate length field where
data can be entered
c. the prompt text dissapers when clicked
e.g.
To: 'Enter recipient name'
Fax No. 'Enter recipient fax No.'
Subject 'Enter subject'
This would then change to (when filled in)
To: Robb Trepte
Fax No. 01600 715888
Subject Problems with Word X templates
Am i doing something wrong here or asking the
impossible, printing the template after filling it in
shouldn't be impossible. Maybe the click here bit is
asking too much.
We are using Lotus Smartsuite on all other Windows based
PCs and it is problem free for this type of requirement.
Please help as this is starting to drive us insane!
