Templates missing in Office 2003

Joe

The Office Shortcut Bar in Office 2000 provided means to identify a
workgroup templates location for all office applications - so whether
in Word or Excel, selecting File|New automatically displayed all
applications templates in the templates folder specified as workgroup
templates location. The Office shortcut bar does not exist in Office
2003 so how do I point my applications to the workgroup templates
location that contains all the templates used by everyone in my
organisation?

Any advice greatly appreciated

Hi Joe,

Are you looking for Office Shortcut bar or for
the 'New Office Documents' shortcut that brings
up the older style template dialog?

As Office uses the Taskpane within the apps to link
to the workgroup templates (ctrl+F1) the New Office
Documents shortcut was made an optional install feature
that you can add through the Office 2003 choice in
Add/Remove Programs in the Windows Control Panel.
