Hi all, i have a question to ask, Currently my company's users have their
templates copied to their local drives and they point the file location for
"user templates" to the local drive where the templates are at. I would like
to let all users access a network folder where it contains the generic
templates. In this way, whenever there is a change of templates, i will not
need to copy the new template to everyone's local drive. May i know whether
templates can work that way? i am going to make the templates as read only.
Saw under options->file locations-> there are workgroup templates and user
templates. Do i put the path to the network folder in the workgroup
templates? what is the difference between putting the path in the user
templates and workgroup templates?How many people can at one time share the
templates? anyone can help?
