Find and delete the file called normal.dot. (It's a hidden file....)

The problem occurs when a document is inadvertently saved over Normal.dot.
There are several solutions, depending on where there are customizations
contained in Normal.dot that you want to retain.

Before using either Gordon or Herb's methods, which are correct, make sure
you do a File SaveAs a new name to preserve the data your son typed, unless
he already has a permanent copy on the hard drive.
