How do you make your own templates for Access 2003? Do you have to use
something like visual basic?

You can build a generic database and use that as a template, you can also
build add-ins:

or build library databases. You do not need to use Visual Basic, although
you most likely want to use VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) which is the
native programming language of MS-Office.
