Open the template, as if it was a document, remove the text and save
the file. Exit word and next time your template should be fine.
Depends on the operating system and Word version you're using as to
where the template is saved, so search your entire C drive for
normal.dot.
If you have no customisations you could simply delete the file and let
Word build a new one next time you start the application.
